It takes courage to submit manuscripts of any length to editors, agents, or publishers. And even when they do like what you’ve written, it takes courage to go through the editing process. The same fearlessness is required whenever we do something brave and bold. I’m grateful for the gracious critique partners and editors I’ve been working with this last while.

As many of you may have already noticed, I love to write both fiction and memoir. I’m pleased to announce one of my short stories and a photograph have been published in an InScribe Christian Writer’s anthology: Christmas Stories & More.

    1. Thank you, dear Morgan. I hear you about the “Anti-everything.” Even if a writer gets published by a faith-based publisher, Christian writers are sometimes subjected to one star ratings even though their book was clearly labeled inspirational. All we can do is turn the other page and keep writing in the way we’re called to write. ❤

    1. Thank you, sweet friend. I’m learning that good writing happens after lots and lots of rewriting. Nice to know I’m not alone in the need for editors and revisions. And how blessed we are that God is writing a story in each of our hearts and lives. I can’t wait for the happy-ending-return-of-the-King celebrations to begin. ❤
