In the past, autumn has often been a season of loss for me; however, this fall has turned out to be a season of abundant harvest. I’ve received encouragement to pursue my passion for inspirational writing and speaking. God also seems to be pointing me toward memoir writing (which I love… but it’s so very humbling). I don’t know if you’ve had a chance to read my post about this, but it won an award this fall from InScribe Christian Writer’s Fellowship, which is a Canadian writing organization I belong to and am blessed to write a small column for. Here’s a link to the post: Better is One Book in God’s Library than Thousands Elsewhere
Another exciting thing I want to share with you is that I’ve been welcomed as a regular podcast contributor to HopeStreamRadio. It’s a Christian Internet Radio Station whose goal is to glorify God and encourage believers across the globe. Their desire speaks my heart’s passion too. I’ve been an avid fan of Christian radio programming for most of my life, and I’m thrilled and honored to now be part of this wonderful ministry. By the way, my first post will help you understand what I meant by “so very humbling”.
Here’s a hint: Christ’s Light converts cracked pots into lamps.
Believe me, the more you learn about me—the more cracks you’ll see. But I pray His glorious Light becomes the focus—and not the crackpot. 🙂
Here’s a link (that opens in a new window) to my very first podcast where you can also find a menu for other producers, the history of HopeStreamRadio, etc. I’ve been enjoying this station while I use my exercise equipment and while I work on art projects. I hope you’re able to listen in on Tuesdays for my “Walking with Hope” program. I’ve discovered some wonderful podcasts to listen to, and I especially like hearing live-stream radio online. A new podcast of mine will be posted there each Tuesday.
Let me know what you think (I’d love it if you clicked on their share buttons too). Are you already familiar with HopeStreamRadio? They have lovely Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest pages too.
Rescued from the Deep
I was drowning
And He saved me
I was hopeless
And He gave me hope
I was falling into darkness
And He rescued me
With the loving Words

Walking with Hope Blessings ~ Wendy <3
P.S. Let me know what you think.

P.S. While washing my dishes, I got distracted by the view out the window. So I grabbed my camera and took some shots of sunlight twinkling on the drenched rose hips in my garden. I hope you’re also enjoying autumn (or spring) where you live.

Thank you, Steve. 🙂
You’re very welcome.
So happy for you, Wendy. Showers of blessings!
Thank you, dear Linda. 🙂
Blessings Wendy. Somehow I just can’t help but believe you will turn out an awesome memoir one day soon.
Thank you, Gene. 🙂 I’m working on it. Writing the first draft was easy compared to editing and revising it—as I’m sure you know. I loved your from-the-heart memoir.
The more “cracks, the more the light shines through. It’s a blessing and a privilege to know you.
Thank you, dear Clarence. I’m honored by your presence and by your words. I remember the first time I heard John 12:24; it made me uncomfortable. Now I understand why. May He shine through all the cracks.
Congratulations on your inscribe award.
And double congratulations on sharing your story on HopeStream radio. I’ve told you before you have a great radio voice. I have three Christian friends who also share on HopeStream and they’re part of the Inscribe family…Brenda J. Wood, Janis Cox, and Steph Nickel. I will share your radio telecast as I know others need recusing from the deep.
Beautiful photo and poem too. Blessings Wendy
Thank you, dear Tracy. I’ve always hated hearing my own voice. But when I heard the podcast the first time, I was relieved to finally embrace it. “God doesn’t make junk.” 🙂 I’ve been enjoying listening to the other InScribe writers. What a wonderful group of godly sisters and brothers. <3
Wendy: You always accept the new paths that God directs you to. I admire your courage, perseverance, and the way you accept challenges, and turn them into opportunities. Blessings as you go forth to create in new ways.
Thank you, dear Rich. My mom is a courageous woman in so many ways. I’m glad to have observed her fearless and adventurous spirit;we are’t close, but I’m thankful for what she’s taught me. Your daughter is blessed to have such a loving dad, and Mary’s admiration of you is also very evident. I’m honored to call you my friend.
I’m so proud of “my” Wendy Mac. <3
Thank you & hugs, dear Shelli. <3

I am so happy for you and all God is doing! :).
Thank you, dear Debbie. I pray we always enter the doors He opens for us. xo
Congratulations! Always love reading your posts. Blessings 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 I enjoyed seeing the hedgehog in your lovely autumn post. I’ve never met one in person. They’d be more welcome in our garden than the black bear we had last year.
😄 Think I’d rather have a hedgehog than a bear! 🐔😸😊
Enjoyed your Podcast Wendy! Also enjoyed hearing your lovely, soothing voice : ) Wishing you God’s continued blessings.
Thank you, dear Teresa, for checking it out. xo
Congratulations on your writing award, Wendy!
Thank you, dear Lavinia. It came at a moment when I really needed the encouragement.
Congratulations Wendy, I love when the Lord order our steps and set out feet upon a path that brings glory to Him. I hope you are still pressing forward. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, dear Yvonne. The Lord’s order is always the best direction to take. He’s a good, gracious, and holy God. Blessings on your weekend.
