The first picture of the honeysuckle I took while using a flashlight to give it some more light from the left side as it was a gloomy morning… BYO light when necessary is an idea I learned from Rick Braveheart’s blog http://thegreatamericanlandscape.wordpress.com He gives really helpful photography hints in his posts.
I think this is the first time I’ve posted black and whites. I’ve been intrigued by the ones many of you have shared – thank you for inspiring me!

The black and white is quite nice. Also think that your posts are much easier to read on the eyes when done on a white background. Or if you type in black instead of the blue or purple. Oh never mind me- your poetry is lovely. I like it very much.

Hi Paulama! I am enjoying the great outdoors today. A long walk and then garden work (read play) has me feeling pretty good. And Ian is barbecuing ribs so that means I’m off kitchen duty til later. 🙂 It’s a holiday Monday here in BC.

Hugs to you for such scary driving conditions. My hometown was snowy and icy. I remember some scary drives and slides… But you endure even more than I did in my younger days. Warm weather wishes for your province – minus the floods!

There are always trade-offs, right? I am grateful for the sun when it shines – I sure notice when there have been several days in a row without it, so I know how foggy and overcast conditions can get your spirit dragging, too…
