Whenever I hear the question, “What’s the secret to joy?” —I think of an acronym I learned at church years ago. I don’t remember which preacher taught it to me, but it stuck in my mind like hot glue does to the counter when I’m not paying close attention while crafting.
J – Jesus
O – others
Y – yourself
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you
and that your joy may be complete…
Love each other as I have loved you.
John 15:11-12 NIV
I still believe we’re wise to love Jesus and others before ourselves, but if you want to know a bit more about what I think about joy, please take a peek at a blog I’m a guest on this week. Gail asked some good questions and I—being a lover of words—got into the whole interview thing and shared some personal stuff about myself you may not know yet (including a small announcement).
But you’ll have to click on the link below to find out what they are. By the way, Gail’s a lovely hostess—she’ll make you feel more than welcome. ❤
