Lovely blog.
I could not figure out how to subscribe to emails. How do I?

Thank you for letting me know you had difficulty finding out how. There’s a box in the comment section to check or the form at the bottom. I’m hoping they’re working. Thank you, Kathleen.

I”m on a different computer for a few weeks…is that a wordpress site? If not, I’ll pick up your posts via FB. 🙂

Laura, it’s co-hosted by WordPress and BlueHost. I’m not sure if it will show up in the reader or not. I will continue to share the links on Facebook either way. 🙂 Thanks for your visit. 🙂

Hi Wendy,
Glad to hear you’ve moved to a self-hosted site. It will be a bit of a pain for you, though, but once you get all your faithful followers to follow you it’s worth it. There is just a “notify me of new comments via email” under where I’m typing my comments. So I’ll check that off and hopefully that will direct me to your new site.
Blessings,
Tracy

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Tracy. I needed to hear exactly what you’ve said. There’s so much more one can do with your own site. I’ve kept it similar in appearance to start with. so most people would hardly notice it’s new. Blessings.

That’s a smart thing to do too…not changing the appearance too much to start with. 🙂

Tracy, I’m glad to hear it was a good idea. I needed the comfort of familiarity as I ventured beyond my comfort zone. 😉

Don’t be too afraid to move out of your comfort zone. I’m speaking to myself too, Wendy. 😀

My husband has been telling me this too. Bless you for the reminder. ❤

I’ll click on the “notify me …” Didn’t see a form at the bottom. Self hosted, hm-m, I’ll have to look into that.

Thank you, Diane, for visiting. Self-hosted has a learning curve… but BlueHost is really helpful and pleasant. I feel like I’m in good hands if I need to ask questions.

I may have to pick your brain when I eventually switch. Congrats! It will be great fun to watch it unfold.

http://www.bluehost.com is really helpful, if you want to do some research about it. They have a good reputation, and so I decided to go with them. Otherwise I don’t have any advice as I’m a learn as I go person. Don’t follow me tech-wise, because I’m lost. 😉 Over the years I’ve always admired how my mom is willing to jump into something that’s way over her head, and yet not drown in the newness of it all. I’m discovering I’m more like her than I previously thought. Have fun.

Here’s an excellent post about starting a new blog (they mention BlueHost too). http://thewritelife.com/how-to-start-a-blog/?utm_source=The+Write+Life&utm_campaign=0cc84f5c09-main_list_11_6_13_11_5_2013&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ae07a22b59-0cc84f5c09-106431737&mc_cid=0cc84f5c09&mc_eid=959cfd51cd
