Before Fallen Night
Entranced by blooms
and nectar’s delight
flying along day’s path
before fallen night
Driven by design
providing for others
as the queen produces
more sisters and brothers
Creation’s a marvel
full of mysteries and Light
revealing a Designer
with eternal insight
I can’t help but ponder
his wonderful mind
and the gifts of his grace
so readily mine
He’s given us warning
to heed nature’s word
as it speaks of its Maker
for all will have heard.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities –
his eternal power and divine nature –
have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been made,
so that men are without excuse.
Nature has a lot to say…
if I stand still enough to listen.
Creation converses about the Creator.

Thank you, Sue! One of the main reasons I love this verse is because it reminds me that I can see his ‘fingerprints’ if I look close enough. I see a God of order and love; He is not about chaos and fear… but nor is He tame.

We need to save the bee population, as so many are dying from all the pesticides. They are wondrous creatures and are the givers of life for the whole planet. Thank you! Veraiconica
I agree that we must respect and protect these ‘canaries’ of our mine (earth). It is always a joy to see them return each spring; I hope they always do… thank you for the reblog, Veraiconica.
