Hearts beating as one
joined together forever –
you’re my Valentine!

Two shall become one
a miracle of true love –
the merging of wills!

We finally got some sunshine one afternoon last week and yesterday for an hour! Absence makes the heart grow fonder… We are enjoying the snowdrops that have naturalized under our willow tree and in our flowerbeds.

Truly some beautiful photos that you have posted. Wonder how they would look in B & W and framed? Nice poetry as well.
Thank you! I have been waiting since autumn to photograph the snowdrops. That’s when I really started to love macro-photography…

We went on a day out to a local site, Venta Icenorium (Iceni capital) and there were whole patches of snowdrops… so beautiful to see, like a bringer of hope 🙂

Happy Valentines Day to you too.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Dear Wendy! Loved this so, but “the merging of wills” line struck me deeply. A necessary (albeit oft overlooked) delicate convergence for a lifetime romance. Thank you! Hugs and Blessings Always…
I think the merging only works if both people have goodwill – otherwise it gets unbalanced and someone suffers loss of self… I hope you had a lovely day!

Such a lovely little flower that looks so big and elegant!! May you have a day filled with lots and lots of love~ Cheers!! 😀
The snowdrops are wise to show up before the parade of spring flowers arrives. This way we notice them in a big way… Thank you!
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂

Thank you sweet Caddo! It’s nice to be able to post flowers instead of just snow or fog. But all of creation has beauty.

Hope all is well for you today.
Thank you, for your kind words! Interestingly I spent over two hours last night speaking with two atheists that I love. It was so nice to connect in a deep and loving way with them. One I had not had a talk with for about a year. God is good!
Blessings on your day, too, dear friend ~ Wendy xo
Hello Wendy,
Greetings from a Welsh Snowdrop Lover, and great to see someone else who doesn’t mind getting down really low and close to show off their simple beauty, BW
Julian
Hello Julian. Kneeling is certainly the only way to take a picture of the little flowers. I cheat and use a knee pad so I don’t get muddy, and I often prop my camera on the ground to help keep it extra still…
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
Hello Wendy,
Don’t worry about the cheating with a knee pad, after the recent snow I got out a large old sheet of cardboard onto the snow so I could lie down to get at eye level with some Iris reticulata. The lengths we bloggers will go to for a good image.and thanks for the offer of a Haiku. I’ll post a pic if and when we get a healthy lamb!… BW Julian
These make me miss spring…
Norunn, I am looking forward to more sunshine too. Bring on spring!
Blessings new friend ~ Wendy 🙂
