Living for Jesus, loving Him, and listening for His voice bring me great joy. I'm an inspirational writer who also loves photographing creation and making handbound journals.

What a beautiful poem, Wendy. And so full of meaning. Bless you.
Wonderful, Wendy–maybe that’s why I love the sea so much–it’s where God has drowned all the bad that is not the true me. Thanking Him forever. And, thank you for the poem–God bless you Big–love, Caddo
It took me most of my adult life to finally find rest at the Mercy seat. I’ve always known Jesus loves me and died for me. But Mercy. Mercy and all that means each day, totally escaped me. Beautiful post is every way Wendy.
Thank you, Debbie. I began to comprehend His mercy in my early twenties when I was diagnosed with eating disorders. If it had been much later…I may have not made it. He rescued me from the deep!
I love the reminder of being called by name–I remember weeping years of thankful amazement while singing in college “He knows my name…he knows my every thought…he sees each tear that falls…and hears me when I call.”. And then to consider that our burdensome bags have been cast as far away as possible for eternity…it’s so much. Thank you for the reminder. My body is weak today (just a bad cold) but my heart rejoices! Blessings to you! –Alison
Wow Wendy . . .this is so perfect. . .it could be a song. God bless you and thank you for ministering to us today!
p.s. our special needs young lady names our cars, and the current one is called Mercy. So, I can’t help but think about sitting in the Mercy seat each time we go out. 🙂

Thank you, Caddo. I love the “Sea of Forgetfulness”, too! And we must remember the sign that He posted: “No Fishing Allowed!”
