Droplets sprinkled upon petals
Cleansing blush of shame
Fragrance adorns you
Crushed petals releasing
triumphal perfume
Allowing fruition
Covered in red robe
No longer indebted
Following the procession
Partaking of Living Water!

PS – Before our October rains started, we had a day of light drizzle. It covered everything in a delicate film of water. After a semi-drought, it was welcome!
Beautiful pics and poem! Is that a Cherokee rose?
I am terrible at keeping track of names. All I know is that it is an old shrub rose that blooms all summer and fall. The previous owner of our home planted it years ago…

Thank you! I am still in awe of the flower you posted today!

I just noticed that I should’ve written “such” and not “so”… I think I’m forgetting how to write in English. I wish I was as good with words as you are, Wendy! 🙂
I just made my kids laugh today, because I am lousy at memorizing… My foggy brain matches the weather!
🙂
😀 I don’t want to think about matching with the weather, it’s raining so much here I fear Amsterdam will sink soon!
Very pretty images and photos! God bless you–Caddo
Thank you, Caddo!

You told us the story of redemption in this and the miracle of Living Water! Loved it! We had rainy drizzle today too! God bless you!
Thank you, Debbie. We turned on the heat this week. It is cozy inside and very wet outside!

Like a cool drink on a hot day! Lovely photos….
Thank you! Your comment just reminded me of a summer poem I wrote 30 years ago. I may have to dig it out next summer…
