beckons us to draw near

and cast aside

our daily cares

An ocean portrait

with a chosen hue of blue

that provides us with

color therapy

to pacify

a manic mood

Yes

with moments like this

we can go on

walking ahead

facing each stumbling stone

on our path

and not give up

instead

Is this

what You had in mind

when You carved out

the sea’s bends

and fastened a frame

of crushed shells

and burnished giants

that graciously garnish

the ends?
