Ancient Mystery

without beginning or end

unfathomable

~

Only Creator

whose words made the starry host

unimaginable

~

A Triune of Love

our God is Savior and Friend

incomprehensible

 on ‘ The Word with Wendy ‘  blog,

as a springboard.

 are from a lovely hike Ian and I took through Paradise Meadow this month.

Who is Jesus to you?

 I love what I’ve read about Him in the New Testament.

I love what I’ve come to know about Him in my own walk with Him.

He’s been more than what these haiku describe.

He’s my healer and the Hero I’m waiting to see at the end of my life story.

  8. Your gift to spot the beauty in nature is your way to enlighten us about God. My father use to keep it simple for those who did not know God. He would tell them God is love. Your pictures shine with the pure joy of living Wendy.

  10. Oh, Wendy, I loved the opening about the Ancient of Days and as usual your photos are wonderful. And yes, Jesus is a hero, but more than that I needed a Savior and a Lover of my soul. And Jesus is all those things and more to me. This was a great post, my friend. Hugs, N 🙂

  18. Your photos are incredible! I love both poems here. I love seeing God’s creation in nature. When something is especially beautiful, i cNt help but stop and praise Him. Got to do that tonight on my way to pick up my girls from rehearsal tonight. The storm clouds in the east were reflecting the sun’s setting in the west. I had to pause. The same here with this post.

    1. Thank you, Dianne, for your lovely and encouraging comment. Yesterday, the clouds in our eastern sky were dramatic as I drove home. It started to pour down much needed rain just as I walked to our back door. ❀
