Caught up
in autumn’s fair
Raining coolness
everywhere!
Coated in dampness
Clothed in sheer dress
Shine on…
lingering fever of summer
You still impress!
Your wintry whiteness
prophecies
coming covering of fun
Until then…
reflect few remnants
of summer’s sun.

Feverfew, considered a weed by some, is delightful in capturing and releasing sunlight. It fills in gloomy gaps with a smile. And here is another apt quote sent to me by Lizzie:

PS – Thank you, Lizzie!
How beautiful the flower and the words with it! You are helping us hang on to the beauty, Wendy, whatever it may be. 🙂 I have just a few things blooming, and they seem to really stand out now! God bless you and your ever ready heart and camera!
Thank you, Debbie! I was about to photograph a teeny tiny mushroom, today, and the dog stepped on it. 🙂 I asked her to move and tried again… I haven’t checked, yet, to see how it turned out. Made me laugh – though!

Wonderful, as always, Wendy–I look forward to visiting here each day. And I’m laughing about the dog stepping on the mushroom! God bless you–love, Caddo
I love visiting your ‘place’, too! The mushroom photo turned out after all that… 🙂

I didn’t realize that feverfew was a type of chrysanthemum! Thank you for the education!
Cheers!
It responds nicely to pinching it back while it is small; otherwise, it looks weedy!
