White
Luminous purity
Angels of Eden
Lauding others
Amalgamating
Altruistic
Pearls of the patch
White
Radiating glory
Coupled with verdure
Sheer elegance
Sonorous choir
Illuminating chorus
Drifts of holiness
White
Wondrous winter land
Devoid of chills
Luminous glow
Beacons
Standards
Lighthouses midst foliage
White
Trumpet beckons
Returning Sovereign
Pupils ablaze – clemency expired!
Lightning steed
Ascent on clouds
A whole new world!
Wendy/2012
White flowers, in the garden, always catch my eye. In the evening they are the last of the blooms to bid “Goodnight” – as they glow while reflecting any remains of light.

“Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.” Revelation 22:7
Oh my word, that tree’s trunk is gorgeous Wendy!
It looks attached to the tree behind it, but it is actually a burl that my husband brought home for our woodland garden area. I love beautiful surprises!
Blessings ~ Wendy
Actually more the roots really 🙂
Some people slice burls into lovely veneer. I like this one right where it is.
Blessings ~ Wendy
I agree!
Very nice, Wendy! I love that you bid the blooms goodnight 🙂
Lately I am enjoying the Japanese Anemone outside the kitchen window. They wave goodnight as the sunset reflects off them and a breeze makes them dance.
Blessings ~ Wendy
They are beautiful! Enjoy the view!!
Wow, every bit is marvelous, Wendy–and I do love the word “verdure” (not sure why, it just has a rich and interesting sound to me!). God bless you abundantly–love, sis Caddo
Thank you Caddo! Green is my favorite color, but it just didn’t seem to fit the poem dressed so casually – so I dug out my thesaurus…
Blessings ~ Wendy
I think you just expanded my vocabulary, thank you! I shared a link to both of your blogs with my dear friend/next door neighbor, who shares a love for photography! She has some of her pictures up on her blog, which is at http://www.swedeart.blogspot.com! I am such the opposite of a “green thumb”, so it is especially enjoyable for me to see such lovely flowers and plants as the ones you have near you! And, thank you for the reminder that Jesus is coming again soon…there are some days that are so full of blessing, that I sadly forget the urgency, and there are some days that are so full of aching sadness for the world around me that he can’t come soon enough. May our perspective be eternal and our focus on him! –Alison
I feel the same way about his return. I have learned new words, too, as I am looking up alternatives that have more mileage. You may not have a green thumb (yet) but you are good with words. I checked out your friend’s blog and she is good with her camera. I’ll check more later.
Thanks for the link. 🙂

I especially love the photo of the “field” of flowers! Beautiful!
Thank you! We just went for an after dinner walk through it, and it is now overshadowed by the maples turning color.(reds instead of white)
Blessings ~ Wendy
I like the whole new world part. This one has lost it’s appeal. Beautiful poem.
Although, when our freshly picked apples are peeled, they might be a taste of heaven in a pie!
Thank you, Ian, for your compliment!

For the past few years I have been wanting to plant a new section in my garden, and create a ‘white garden’, with just layers of different white flowers. I think it would be so very beautiful at night…
Absolutely go for it! My spring garden near the back door is mostly white. I love how it glows in the evening.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Wow!! I am blown away by the beauty of your blog!! Truly a blessing! God bless you and your work!
Thank you! If it is beautiful, it’s because God made nature for us to enjoy and to reveal Himself through it. He is beautiful. And He is love.
