upon a springtime morn
when night’s shadows pass away
and a new day has been born
Shower me with blessings
as I greet another day
with raindrop painted petals
freshly opened on display
Shower me with grace
and flowery fragrant truth
collecting drops of mercy
that reflect the light of You
Shower me with your Word
removing sin’s dark scar
and grant me now your Agape Love
to fill my ready heart.

On a recent Saturday, just after dawn, I noticed how lovely the raindrops looked in the morning light. Special thanks to my handsome husband for making morning coffee and to my little dog who helps me get outside – the first thing each day!
