Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come…
Song of Songs 2:12 NIV
Spring reminds me of eternity.
Each delicate petal of these early flowers brave frost, snow, or rain, and they remind me of the faithful love of our Creator.
He watches over us too.
We may get bedraggled during storms, but at the core of our story, God is creating everlasting beauty through the washing of His Word.
I often resist His course corrections and complain about harsh weather, however, I eventually relinquish my preconceived plans and rest in His hands. (Listen here to a recent podcast about a flood my house suffered: God is Good)
Life’s hardness presses us into the softness of His hands.
You will fill me with joy in your
presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right
hand.
Psalm 16:11 NIV

I seek God’s Presence
believing He rewards those
who delight in Him alone

Those who know your name will trust
in you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken
those who seek you.
Psalm 9:10 NIV

to satisfy the seekers

What’s blooming in your part of the planet? I’m nosy-to-know.
I’m blogging about writing, parenting, and bald eagles on my other blog today: Wendy L. Macdonald
Beautiful blessings ~ Wendy Mac
Lovely verses, and the joy of spring captured so well in the bumble bee luxuriating in the crocus.
Thank you, dear friend. Yes, bumblebees know how to make spring look delicious. 🙂
This post makes me smile, gives joy, and hope for tomorrow. Photos, scripture, and your words: a perfect fit. Thanks for making my morning sweet.
Thank you for blessing my morning with your kind words, dear Anne. <3
Love the pictures but we’re still working on waiting for the snow to melt here!
Wishing warm waves of spring weather your way, Pastor Pete. We’re not immune to a surprise storm yet–but I won’t be wishing for one. 🙂
Thanks for the hope of spring shown in your lovely poetry and photos of flowers. Thanks also for the hope you have poured into your audio post, God Is Good. I needed some of that hopefulness today. Thanks for pouring me a tall glass of the hope God gives in his Word. Blessings, Green Light Lady.
Thank you, dear Sharon, for sharing “a tall glass” of encouragement with me. I love how He can use anything for good–even floods. <3
All of this is so nourishing to my soul. Like I imagine the nectar is for the bee! Thank you so much, Wendy, for continually taking time to seek Him and see Him and share it with us! Blessings and love and joy!
Thank you, dear Debbie, for the reminder on your blog today not to “doubt our worth.” Beautiful poem. Hugs. <3
Lovely photos and words, Wendy. Such bright colours of Spring and wonders of His amazing Love and Creation!
Thank you, dear Iris. Spring looks and sounds like poetry–doesn’t it? I’m enjoying bringing my grandson out in the garden so he can hear the lovely birdsong. <3
That’s so lovely… being in the garden.. and listening to the birds singing! <3 Enjoy the Spring with your grandson, Wendy. 🙂

Hi, Wendy, your verses and poems spoke life to me just now. Thank you! I also love your blog tagline.
Thank you for stopping by, dear Christina. My tagline came about while I was working on a blog post a few years ago; it references my recovery from eating disorders. Blessings on your weekend.
Nothing poking through the ground here yet, but I know in good time we will see Spring again. Thank you for the preview.
Hi Karen, our valley sometimes gets a surprise snowfall in March, so we’re not completely out of the winter woods yet. 🙂
This is beautiful, Wendy! I feel the breath of God in this post. Thank you!
Thank you, dear Jennifer, for your kind words. Blessings as you breathe in His goodness throughout your day.
That brought a big smile to my face! I receive that blessing, Wendy!
