icy blooms delight!

On Ice Blessings ~ Wendy
I’ve waited for weeks to capture a “frost flower” ever since I’ve seen one on Gary’s blog. What are you waiting to capture?
Have a nice weekend everyone! I’ll be back with a post on Monday.
Beautiful Wendy, just beautiful!

Love the pictures!!! Well done my friend! 🙂
Thank you, Calee! Hugs! It’s fun to collect “treasures” with a camera… I sure don’t miss the pre-digital camera days.

Wonderful pictures- I’ve never seen a frost flower. Is the second one the glacier you’ve shown before? Always enjoy your posts.
Thank you! Yes, David, the second photo is the Comox Glacier. I never tire of it. It’s been cloudy all week – so it has not been visible…but I took that picture last Saturday morning. Today the sun shined a bit for the first time in a week, and I did some perennial cleanup outside.
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
I love it, your good words make good on your word, and have started my day with a huge smile. Thank you Wendy. 😀
Thanks for your inspiring posts, Gary! I learn so much from other photographers/bloggers such as yourself.

Thank you! I used a kneeling pad and got right on the ground to take it…

Your words and images are so inspiring. The world is strange, it seems so terribly cold there, and yet here I am sitting in heat that is at times unbearable. Thanks Wendy. wonderful post.
Thank you, Don! I’ll try not to be jealous of your warm weather since we did get some sunshine today. I agree that extreme heat is not fun either…
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
Wendy, it feels good to be back… I’ve missed you 🙂 Love those photos! and I think you get an “A” for the haiku! Well done!
Thank you for the “A”, Daisy! I am glad to see you are back. 🙂 I’ll come over to see what you are doing on your blog, today.
I am getting excited as I see spring bulbs pushing up their leaves lately… I haven’t been blogging during early spring before, so I’ll have fun with it. Hugs!

Nice to see your work from beginning to end.
Thank you, Ian, for helping me with my computer and grammar, too! 😉
Blessings dearest of all ~ Wendy xoxo
I love that frost flower too! Gorgeous! And all of the photos and haikus! Yesterday I kept staring , seeing something red in the trees. it looked like an ornament amidst all the gray, but I think maybe it was a fat cardinal. 🙂 Thank you and God bless you and yours with a sweet weekend!
Thank you, Debbie! I suspect that you would be great with a camera, since you are very observant… 🙂

Hi, Wendy! Lovely Pics and Poem as always!
Sorry I have not been around in a while (holidays, travel, trying to stay healthy). I just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Blog of the year award. You can pick up the details at http://biltrix.com/2013/01/18/5-stars-thank-you/ .
God bless!
Thank you for thinking of me. I plan to do a thank you post later this month for nominations… I hope your travels brought you into contact with much of our Creator’s splendorous creation!
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
My garden is dressed in DEEP white today! More snow means more dress-up fun! 🙂
Oops – wrong comment in the wrong place. 🙁 I’ve been waiting all winter to capture frost on a fence – I’ll have to add ‘frost-flower’ to my list, too! 🙂
I put a comment in the wrong place once, and the blogger friend said something like, “The more the merrier!” I agree that frost is fun to photograph…

I’ve never seen an ice flower before. Perhaps because I wasn’t looking. Thanks for opening my eyes to such a wonder
I am thankful to another blogger for pointing out their existence to me too. 🙂
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
Too warm here…I actually did some yard work today.
Nice photos and haiku.
Thank you! It’s mild here, today, so I went out and cleaned a perennial bed up a bit. There is always something I can do outside…until my fingers get too cold!
Blessings dear friend ~ Wendy 🙂
Hello Wendy, Each one is a precious gem. Beautiful!

Thank you Wendy – my “dry flower” post was an inspiration of your Haiku on ice..
