Hint of Spring Haiku

Waiting for sunshine

to cast light upon snowdrops –

instead falling rain.

Honeysuckle vine

resilient through winter –

determined to grow!

Birdhouse winter cap

seasonal fashion statement –

outdated in spring!

The first picture of the honeysuckle I took while using a flashlight to give it some more light from the left side as it was a gloomy morning… BYO light when necessary is an idea I learned from Rick Braveheart’s blog http://thegreatamericanlandscape.wordpress.com  He gives really helpful photography hints in his posts.

I think this is the first time I’ve posted black and whites.  I’ve been intrigued by the ones many of you have shared – thank you for inspiring me!

Here is a fourth picture for you to write your own poem, haiku, or thoughts about in the comment box – if you’d like to.  I’ll be waiting…
