Perhaps it’s time

to let go

Why adhere to the past?

Turn the pages

This season

is over

It was not meant

to last

Submit to the moment

For His plans

will give you

a new tomorrow

And you’ll prosper

as hope will sound

from your sorrow

just as a fallen leaf

adds life

to the ground.

This week when I dropped our son off for his hike, I noticed this maple leaf clinging onto a tree for dear life.  It is often in letting go that real life begins.
