I hope you’ll join me at Two Drops of Ink: A Literary Blog as I share a short memoir piece about one of my dear sons.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thank you , Wendy, for sharing your wonderful memories in such a beautiful way! I wish we could slam on the brakes too!
Thank you, Debbie. It’s funny how we go from wanting time to fly by to wanting to apply the brakes. Blessings, dear friend.
You brought back some fun memories… My son is now married and yes, time flew much too quickly!
And I’ve noticed Mr. Time is pressing on the gas pedal harder than ever too. Thank you. dear Karen, for sharing that.
You made me tear up. I think we have similar paths … we, too, went through that book when we homeschooled our three sons. And now, just like you, I brush my tears away in private places thinking about those days. I suppose our sons (and daughters) will continue to learn a hundred lessons in all sorts of subjects. I pray for them that they now be taught by the Holy Spirit, the best Teacher ever 🙂 Thanks for this beautiful post, Wendy!
Heidi, your prayer, “…that they now be taught by the Holy Spirit,” is my hope too. Seeds were planted. Thank you for blessing me, dear friend. <3
