Whenever I see someone casting for fish, I’m instantly transported back in time to when I’ve been fishing with my dear husband or my late dad. This young man was kind in allowing me to photograph him, and he even gave me permission to post these on the internet.
I rarely photograph strangers, but this fellow looked so peaceful and picture perfect in his fishing outfit as he stood there in front of an autumnal backdrop, that I had to click a few shots. Unfortunately he needed to let the fish go as it was the wrong kind of salmon. He was hoping to get a Chum and this one was a young Spring.

One of the things I’ve noticed about men is they respond generously to respect.
I’ve learned the hard way what happens when a wife doesn’t give her husband unconditional respect. It’s difficult for a man to respond to contempt with love. Only Jesus can love perfectly.
