In the past, autumn has often been a season of loss for me; however, this fall has turned out to be a season of abundant harvest. I’ve received encouragement to pursue my passion for inspirational writing and speaking. God also seems to be pointing me toward memoir writing (which I love… but it’s so very humbling). I don’t know if you’ve had a chance to read my post about this, but it won an award this fall from InScribe Christian Writer’s Fellowship, which is a Canadian writing organization I belong to and am blessed to write a small column for. Another exciting thing I want to share with you is that I’ve been welcomed as a regular podcast contributor to HopeStreamRadio. It’s a Christian Internet Radio Station whose goal is to glorify God and encourage believers across the globe. Their desire speaks my heart’s passion too. I’ve been an avid fan of Christian radio programming for most of my life, and I’m thrilled and honored to now be part of this wonderful ministry. By the way, my first post will help you understand what I meant by “so very humbling”.

Here’s a hint: Christ’s Light converts cracked pots into lamps.

Believe me, the more you learn about me—the more cracks you’ll see. But I pray His glorious Light becomes the focus—and not the crackpot. 🙂

    Congratulations on your inscribe award.
    And double congratulations on sharing your story on HopeStream radio. I’ve told you before you have a great radio voice. I have three Christian friends who also share on HopeStream and they’re part of the Inscribe family…Brenda J. Wood, Janis Cox, and Steph Nickel. I will share your radio telecast as I know others need recusing from the deep.

    1. Thank you, dear Tracy. I’ve always hated hearing my own voice. But when I heard the podcast the first time, I was relieved to finally embrace it. “God doesn’t make junk.” 🙂 I’ve been enjoying listening to the other InScribe writers. What a wonderful group of godly sisters and brothers. <3

    1. Thank you, dear Rich. My mom is a courageous woman in so many ways. I’m glad to have observed her fearless and adventurous spirit;we are’t close, but I’m thankful for what she’s taught me. Your daughter is blessed to have such a loving dad, and Mary’s admiration of you is also very evident. I’m honored to call you my friend.
