Sacred Simplicity
**********************
Some flowers bloom without our aid
as sacred elegance in the wild
Their seeds cast by nature’s hand
with the simplicity of a child
~
No fanfare or grand scheme designed
just a flight on wings and wind
as capsules of potential descend
upon the earth who takes them in
~
The Creator esteems such humble ways
and childlikeness a desirable trait
in order for true righteousness to be sown
in all matters of our faith.

These wildflowers are from the hike my husband and I took in Paradise Meadows.

Children so easily live in the moment and trust Providence for the future.

Our Creator can accomplish much when we “let go and let God.”

I have so much to let go of ; yet , even in this God begins and completes the good work.

I just need to believe.

OH! This is so Lovely 🙂
Thank you! Blessings.
All true. Thrilling how close-ups of flowers give such an amazing perspective, like seeing them again for the first time. When I first started doing that my farmer/gardener Mother had difficulty identifying a few of them. Again, amazing!
Thank you! I love macro photography for that very reason. When Darwin came up with his theory, it was before we knew just how complex living things are. Who put all that information in the nucleus? 🙂
I love this!!
Thank you, Kathleen, I enjoyed putting it together.
I enjoyed my quiet stay in Gods backyard. Thank you Wendy.
His gardens are always the most satisfying. Thank you!

I love that about God. He wants us to be like children.

Thank you, Lucinda! I appreciate your encouragement. 🙂
Oh my…those pictures were beautiful, and the words were woven to fit so perfectly. A child-like faith, simply the best! 🙂
Thank you, Becky! I think children have much to teach adults in matters of faith. 🙂

SACRED…AND ONLY SIMPLE ON THE SURFACE.
YOUR POST “BOWLS” US OVER!!!! GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR CREATIVITY.
Thank you, Jonathan, for your enthusiastic reblog! 🙂
Truly peaceful, Wendy. I too find respite for my busy soul amongst the flowers!
And you do it so well, Melody! I’m on my way over to visit your garden…
It was a joy to experience the sacred elegance here today. A welcome respite. God bless you, Wendy! 🙂

So very lovely
Thank you, Barb. I especially loved your latest post!
Thanks, Wendy!! I’m so glad you did!!
Lovely photos and thoughts.
Thank you, Patti. Blessings!
Your poem was just perfect, Wendy .. .and then the flower photos and thoughts with them put this over the top with simple beauty and joy. I really looked when you talked about child like faith. Having a ‘forever child’ with me gives me great opportunity to learn these beautiful lessons of childlikeness. 😀 Thank you and God bless you always!
Thank you, Debbie, for such a lovely comment. I remember a “forever child” making the most intriguing remarks at a church service years ago, and I found myself listening extra closely and being blessed for it. Blessings dear friend.
This is like my poppy post – the effortlessness of poppies self-seeding has always appealed to me. We strive so much …. they don’t!
Frances, I know what you mean about poppies… I love their independence and resilience. 🙂
It’s interesting how God uses the simplest things to teach us the deepest lessons! Thanks for sharing your journey insights with us 🙂
Thank you, Daisy! I love that about God. He is the only perfection, and yet not pretentious.
More beautiful words and photos, Wendy!
It brings me joy to know that I can share His creation with others from all across the globe. Blessings to you, Bill, and your family. I admire and appreciate your inspirational writing.
Ha!! I may be last (for now) but I get to give my likes and comments in person. :>
Last but not least, dear Ian! You are my favorite blogger. 😉
lovely photos …and words to go with.
thanks for sharing
Thank you for stopping by! 🙂
That yellow flower seemed to jump right off the screen at me. So beautiful. And wouldn’t it be wonderful to be like little children and always be able to enjoy each moment without the intrusion of worry about what tomorrow might bring. I appreciate the inspiration your site always brings me. Thank you.
Yes, Elizabeth, it would make life so much more peaceful if we trusted with childlike faith. Thank you for your visit. 🙂
Well isn’t this the truth! Nobody can compete with HIS gardens…always perfect.
His garden does not add to our “to do” list either. 🙂

Lovely poem with a serene remoteness.
Thank you, Bobby, for the lovely comment!
Paradise Valley is aptly named! Oh, to look at the world through a child’s eyes. What a gift that magical time is…and one we can revisit in times of quiet and obviously when visiting Paradise Valley! 🙂
It’s no wonder that grandchildren are such treasures, since they bring a fresh perspective to aging minds. I live with teens, and so I see the in between world through their words.
Thank you for your visit. 🙂 I enjoyed visiting your site.
I love your photos and your thoughts about the Creator and His Creation. Blessings, Natalie

Thank you so much! 🙂
I read a reply you wrote to Wendy and was quite taken with these words: “Some flowers bloom without our aid as sacred elegance in the wild Their seeds cast by nature’s hand with the simplicity of a child ~ No fanfare or grand scheme designed just a flight on wings and wind as capsules of potential descend upon the earth who takes them in ~ […]” Would you give me the link to your blog?
