You and your blog are such a blessing!! Thanks for the link to my blog, too, and for the encouraging words always. Looking at the facts you listed about yourself, we share one very important one to me: loving old hymns. Our church these days rarely sings them, but when we do….goosebumps and tears!! What are your favorites? Mine are “Come Thou Fount”, “Be Thou My Vision”, “Amazing Grace”, “It is Well With My Soul”…might have to find a hymn station on Pandora soon!
We are always learning hymns in our homeschool, for the last 10 years, so I have quite a few that I love. We just learned “We Gather Together” last week and it is now one I love. I adore “This is My Father’s World” since it was one of the first that we learned together. “I Need Thee Every Hour” is another one and “Fear Not I Am With Thee” that reach into my soul. I probably love over 50 equally. I love some of the new stuff, too… if it has substance.
